The Carmichaels Mighty Mikes basketball team (Carmichaels, PA), was nudged 40-34 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Bethlehem Center Bulldogs (Fredericktown, PA)

The Bulldogs now sport a 5-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fort Cherry for a WPIAL 2A 4 battle on Monday, January 29. Bethlehem Center will battle a Rangers team coming off a 71-43 league win over Frazier (Perryopolis, PA). The Rangers record now stands at 13-4.

The Mighty Mikes (3-13) will now prepare for their battle against Bentworth (Bentleyville, PA). The Bearcats come into the WPIAL 2A 4 battle with a 3-13 record. In their last battle, Bentworth was nudged by Chartiers-Houston (Houston, PA), 54-47, in a league battle.
