The Blackwell Hornets basketball team (Blackwell, TX), was overwhelmed 58-18 in Friday's league battle with the host Bronte Longhorns (Bronte, TX)
The Longhorns now possess a 7-18 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Robert Lee for a 1A Region II District 11 battle on Tuesday, January 30. Bronte will battle a Steers team coming off a 48-33 league loss to Irion County (Mertzon, TX). The Steers record now stands at 20-7.
