Gilmer will confront a Roughriders team coming off a 55-48 league win over Spring Hill (Longview, TX). The Roughriders record now stands at 15-9.

The Bulldogs (2-15) will now prepare for their battle against Henderson (Henderson, TX). The Lions come into the 4A Region III District 17 battle with a 2-25 record. In their last battle, Henderson was nudged by Kilgore (Kilgore, TX), 63-36, in a league battle.
