The Central Tigers basketball team scored 61 points and restricted the host Jonesboro Hurricane to 36 in the Tigers league victory on Friday.

The Tigers now sport a 19-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Little Rock for a 6A Central contest on Tuesday, January 30. Central will battle a Charging Wildcats team coming off a 73-50 league win over Cabot (Cabot, AR). The Charging Wildcats record now stands at 15-5.

The Hurricane (11-9) will now prepare for their contest against Cabot (Cabot, AR). The Panthers come into the 6A Central contest with a 7-13 record. In their last contest, Cabot was routed by North Little Rock (North Little Rock, AR), 73-50, in a league contest.
