Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Providence Day Chargers (Charlotte, NC) and the host Charlotte Latin Hawks (Charlotte, NC), saw Providence Day's basketball squad knock off Charlotte Latin by a count of 45-33.

With the victory, Providence Day upgrades its record to 18-6 on the campaign. The Chargers host Davidson Day (Davidson, NC) to play the Patriots in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 27. The Patriots come into the challenge with a record of 15-6. Davidson Day won 63-22 in their recent league challenge against University Christian (Hickory, NC)

Next up, the Hawks play the Covenant Day Lions (Matthews, NC) in a NCISAA Charlotte Independent challenge, on Tuesday, January 30. Charlotte Latin will attempt to upgrade on its 11-10 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 17-6 record after their 51-43 non-league win over Rabun Gap-Nacoochee (Rabun Gap, GA).
