Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Northridge Knights (Niles, IL) and the visiting Elgin Academy Hilltoppers (Elgin, IL), saw Northridge's basketball squad knock off Elgin Academy by a count of 70-62.

With the victory, Northridge upgrades its record to 16-6 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Camanche (Camanche, IA) to play the Indians in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 27. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 5-8. Camanche won 71-68 in their recent league challenge against Anamosa (Anamosa, IA)

Next up, the Hilltoppers play the Schaumburg Christian Conquerors (Schaumburg, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 29. Elgin Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 10-12 season record. The Conquerors come into the challenge with a 4-10 record after their 60-53 league loss to Christian Life (Rockford, IL).
