Illinois High School Basketball - Northridge tips Elgin Academy

The Northridge Knights basketball team scored 67 points and restricted the host Elgin Academy Hilltoppers to 64 in the Knights league victory on Friday.

The Knights now sport a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lutheran for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 9. Northridge will battle a Crusaders team coming off a 64-40 league win over Winnebago (Winnebago, IL). The Crusaders record now stands at 3-3.

The Hilltoppers (3-6) will now prepare for their contest against Christian Liberty (Arlington Heights, IL). The come into the non-league contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Christian Liberty edged Hiawatha (Kirkland, IL), 59-40, in a non-league contest.
