Virginia High School Basketball - First Colonial ripped by Green Run

The Green Run Stallions basketball team scored 71 points and held the host First Colonial Patriots to 38 in the Stallions league triumph on Friday.

The Stallions now sport a 10-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Varina for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 27. Green Run will meet a Blue Devils team coming off a 65-50 league win over Henrico (Richmond, VA). The Blue Devils record now stands at 11-1.

The Patriots (2-14) will now prepare for their contest against Bayside (Virginia Beach, VA). The Marlins enter the Beach contest with a 6-13 record. In their last contest, Bayside was routed by Landstown (Virginia Beach, VA), 55-41, in a league contest.
