Virginia High School Basketball - Fluvanna County knocked off by Orange County

The Orange County Fighting Hornets basketball team scored 69 points and held the visiting Fluvanna County Flying Flucos to 61 in the Fighting Hornets league triumph on Friday.
The Fighting Hornets now sport a 11-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Western Albemarle for a Jefferson contest on Tuesday, January 30. Orange County will battle a Warriors team coming off a 69-49 league win over Monticello (Charlottesville, VA). The Warriors record now stands at 14-4.
The Flying Flucos (8-9) will now prepare for their contest against Powhatan (Powhatan, VA). The Indians enter the non-league contest with a 6-9 record. In their last contest, Powhatan ran past Monacan (Richmond, VA), 63-56, in a league contest.
