The Liberty Lions basketball team scored 77 points and held the host Freedom Falcons to 46 in the Lions league triumph on Friday.

The Lions now sport a 19-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Antioch for a Bay Valley contest on Tuesday, January 30. Liberty will battle a Panthers team coming off a 50-44 league loss to Heritage (Brentwood, CA). The Panthers record now stands at 8-14.

With the defeat, Freedom moves to 5-16 on the year. The Falcons host Pittsburg (Pittsburg, CA) to meet the Pirates in a Bay Valley match on Tuesday, January 30. The Pirates enter the match with a record of 17-5. Pittsburg won 95-82 in their recent league match against Deer Valley (Antioch, CA)
