The Liberty Lions (Brentwood, CA) basketball crushed the visiting Freedom Falcons (Oakley, CA), 76-36 in Tuesday's league test.

The Lions (12-3) will now prepare for their test against Antioch (Antioch, CA). The Panthers go into the Bay Valley test with a 7-10 record. In their last test, Antioch walloped Heritage (Brentwood, CA), 69-61, in a league test.

The Falcons now own a 4-12 record. They play next when they travel to Pittsburg for a Bay Valley test on Friday, January 12. Freedom will encounter a Pirates squad coming off a 81-36 league win over Deer Valley (Antioch, CA). The Pirates record now stands at 13-4.
