The General McLane Lancers basketball team (Edinboro, PA), was nudged 67-61 in Friday's league battle with the visiting McDowell Trojans (Erie, PA)
The Trojans now possess a 11-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Taylor Allderdice for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 27. McDowell will confront a Dragons team coming off a 90-64 league win over Brashear (Pittsburgh, PA). The Dragons record now stands at 12-2.
The Lancers (8-7) will now prepare for their battle against Meadville (Meadville, PA). The Bulldogs come into the District 10 Region 7 battle with a 7-8 record. In their last battle, Meadville edged Fort LeBoeuf (Waterford, PA), 73-47, in a league battle.
