The Glencoe-Silver Lake Panthers basketball team scored 69 points and held the host Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted Lakers to 68 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Friday.
The Panthers now sport a 11-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Dassel-Cokato for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 30. Glencoe-Silver Lake will meet a Chargers team coming off a 63-50 non-league win over Litchfield (Litchfield, MN). The Chargers record now stands at 11-6.
The Lakers (12-4) will now prepare for their contest against Annandale (Annandale, MN). The Cardinals enter the non-league contest with a 11-3 record. In their last contest, Annandale nudged Rockford (Rockford, MN), 75-42, in a non-league contest.
