The Glencoe-Silver Lake Panthers basketball team scored 80 points and held the visiting Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted Lakers to 74 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Panthers now sport a 15-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dassel-Cokato for a non-league contest on Friday, February 23. Glencoe-Silver Lake will meet a Chargers team coming off a 79-75 non-league win over Litchfield (Litchfield, MN). The Chargers record now stands at 13-12.
The Lakers (16-8) will now prepare for their contest against Annandale (Annandale, MN). The Cardinals enter the non-league contest with a 20-3 record. In their last contest, Annandale nudged Rockford (Rockford, MN), 64-33, in a non-league contest.
