In Friday's league match, the visiting Hanks Knights basketball team scored a tight 47-46 triumph over the Horizon Scorpions.

In their next game, the Knights meet the Del Valle Conquistadores (El Paso, TX) in a 5A Region I District 2 match, on Tuesday, January 30. Hanks will attempt to move on its 14-13 season record. The Conquistadores enter the match with a 17-9 record after their 66-63 league win over Parkland (El Paso, TX).
