The Wapello Indians basketball team scored 73 points and restricted the visiting Highland Huskies to 27 in the Indians league victory on Friday.

The Indians now sport a 8-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to WACO for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 27. Wapello will battle a Warriors team coming off a 64-51 non-league win over Hillcrest Academy (Kalona, IA). The Warriors record now stands at 9-5.

The Huskies (1-13) will now prepare for their contest against Lone Tree (Lone Tree, IA). The Lions come into the SEI - North contest with a 6-11 record. In their last contest, Lone Tree was routed by Pekin (Packwood, IA), 66-55, in a league contest.
