The Parker Thundering Herd basketball team scored 43 points and restricted the visiting Homewood Patriots to 24 in the Thundering Herd league victory on Friday.
The Thundering Herd now sport a 21-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Minor for a 6A Area 9 contest on Tuesday, January 30. Parker will battle a Tigers team coming off a 63-32 non-league win over Cornerstone (Birmingham, AL). The Tigers record now stands at 18-8.
The Patriots (18-7) will now prepare for their contest against Hoover (Hoover, AL). The Buccaneers come into the non-league contest with a 24-3 record. In their last contest, Hoover prevailed over Tuscaloosa County (Northport, AL), 68-38, in a league contest.
