Alabama High School Basketball - Parker can't hold off Homewood

The Homewood Patriots basketball team scored 50 points and held the host Parker Thundering Herd to 45 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Patriots now sport a 22-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Shades Valley for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 10. Homewood will battle a Mounties team coming off a 63-47 non-league loss to Mountain Brook (Birmingham, AL). The Mounties record now stands at 16-12.
The Thundering Herd (22-10) will now prepare for their contest against Mountain Brook (Birmingham, AL). The Spartans enter the non-league contest with a 23-7 record. In their last contest, Mountain Brook nudged Shades Valley (Birmingham, AL), 63-47, in a non-league contest.
