The Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Lakers basketball team scored 64 points and held the visiting Howardsville Christian Eagles to 52 in the Lakers league triumph on Friday.

The Lakers now sport a 10-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Black River for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 30.

The Eagles (7-4) will now prepare for their contest against Eau Claire (Eau Claire, MI). The Beavers enter the Berrien-Cass-St. Joseph - White contest with a 5-5 record.
