The Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Lakers basketball team scored 65 points and restricted the host Howardsville Christian Eagles to 64 in the Lakers league victory on Tuesday.

The Lakers now sport a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Covert for a Berrien-Cass-St. Joseph - White contest on Friday, January 12. Our Lady of the Lake Catholic will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 1-0 league loss to New Buffalo (New Buffalo, MI). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-4.

The Eagles (7-2) will now prepare for their contest against Countryside Academy (Benton Harbor, MI). The Cougar come into the Berrien-Cass-St. Joseph - White contest with a 1-6 record. In their last contest, Countryside Academy was nudged by Michigan Lutheran (St. Joseph, MI), 65-32, in a league contest.
