The KIPP Delta basketball team (Helena, AR), was nudged 60-54 in Friday's league battle with the host Palestine-Wheatley Patriots (Palestine, AR)
The Patriots now possess a 9-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Barton for a 2A Region 6 battle on Monday, January 29. Palestine-Wheatley will battle a Bears team coming off a 67-39 league win over McCrory (McCrory, AR). The Bears record now stands at 13-2.
The (4-7) will now prepare for their battle against Lee (Marianna, AR). The Trojans come into the 2A Region 6 battle with a 13-6 record. In their last battle, Lee was nudged by Osceola (Osceola, AR), 88-58, in a non-league battle.
