The KIPP Delta basketball team scored 52 points and restricted the visiting Palestine-Wheatley Patriots to 50 in the league victory on Friday.

The now sport a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lee for a 2A Region 6 contest on Friday, January 5. KIPP Delta will battle a Trojans team coming off a 69-60 non-league win over East Poinsett County (Lepanto, AR). The Trojans record now stands at 7-5.

The Patriots (4-6) will now prepare for their contest against DeWitt (DeWitt, AR). The Dragons come into the non-league contest with a 3-5 record. In their last contest, DeWitt edged Augusta (Augusta, AR), 73-65, in a non-league contest.
