In Friday's league outing, the Mansfield Tigers (Mansfield, AR) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Western Yell County Wolverines (Havana, AR), by a margin of 65-31.
The Tigers (11-8) will now prepare for their outing against Magazine (Magazine, AR). The Rattlers go into the 2A Region 4 outing with a 6-18 record. In their last outing, Magazine was trounced by Westside (Coal Hill, AR), 60-40, in a league outing.
The Wolverines now own a 17-14 record. They play next when they travel to Scranton for a non-league outing on Monday, January 29. Western Yell County will clash with a Rockets squad coming off a 44-28 league win over Nemo Vista (Center Ridge, AR). The Rockets record now stands at 25-6.
