New Mexico High School Basketball - Rio Grande thwarted by Manzano

The Rio Grande Ravens basketball team (Albuquerque, NM), dropped 66-54 in Friday's league battle with the host Manzano Monarchs (Albuquerque, NM)

The Monarchs now possess a 5-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Santa Fe for a 5A District 5 battle on Tuesday, January 30. Manzano will battle a Demons team coming off a 58-57 league loss to Los Lunas (Los Lunas, NM). The Demons record now stands at 13-5.

The Ravens (5-10) will now prepare for their battle against Cibola (Albuquerque, NM). The Cougars come into the non-league battle with a 4-14 record.
