The Marshall County Marshals basketball team scored 59 points and restricted the host Paducah Tilghman Blue Tornado to 58 in the Marshals non-league victory on Friday.

The Marshals now sport a 15-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Union County for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 30. Marshall County will battle a Braves team coming off a 52-43 league loss to Henderson County (Henderson, KY). The Braves record now stands at 9-9.

The Blue Tornado (8-9) will now prepare for their contest against McCracken County (Paducah, KY). The Mustangs come into the District 2 contest with a 15-6 record. In their last contest, McCracken County was nudged by Carlisle County (Bardwell, KY), 55-53, in a non-league contest.
