Kentucky High School Basketball - Marshall County thwarts Paducah Tilghman

The Marshall County Marshals (Benton, KY) basketball knocked off the visiting Paducah Tilghman Blue Tornado (Paducah, KY), 62-54 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Marshals (17-4) will now prepare for their test against Murray (Murray, KY). The Tigers go into the District 4 test with a 17-6 record. In their last test, Murray went down by Calloway County (Murray, KY), 50-42, in a league test.
The Blue Tornado now own a 8-11 record. They play next when they host Graves County for a non-league test on Monday, February 5. Paducah Tilghman will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 78-47 non-league win over Trigg County (Cadiz, KY). The Eagles record now stands at 17-6.
