The Bulldogs now possess a 12-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Saluda for a AA Region 2 battle on Tuesday, January 30. Newberry will battle a Tigers team coming off a 72-45 league loss to Abbeville (Abbeville, SC). The Tigers record now stands at 6-14.
The Wildcats (3-12) will now prepare for their battle against Mid-Carolina (Prosperity, SC). The Rebels come into the AA Region 2 battle with a 6-11 record. In their last battle, Mid-Carolina prevailed over Saluda (Saluda, SC), 54-32, in a league battle.
