The Woodland Bobcats (Woodland, AL) basketball nipped the visiting Wellborn Panthers (Anniston, AL), 35-33 in Friday's non-league test.
The Bobcats (3-13) will now prepare for their test against Waterloo (Waterloo, AL). The Cougars go into the non-league test with a 3-18 record. In their last test, Waterloo got by Lindsay Lane Christian Academy (Athens, AL), 38-35, in a non-league test.
The Panthers now own a 3-18 record. They play next when they host Cleburne County for a non-league outing on Monday, January 29. Wellborn will clash with a Tigers squad coming off a 61-36 league loss to White Plains (Anniston, AL). The Tigers record now stands at 14-10.
