The Mountain Lakes Lakers basketball team scored 35 points and held the visiting Academy of St. Elizabeth Panthers to 28 in the Lakers non-league triumph on Friday.

The Lakers now sport a 11-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Belvidere for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 30.

The Panthers (10-7) will now prepare for their contest against Villa Walsh Academy (Morristown, NJ). The Vikings enter the non-league contest with a 13-3 record. In their last contest, Villa Walsh Academy was nudged by Morristown-Beard (Morristown, NJ), 46-42, in a non-league contest.
