The Buffalo Bison basketball team (Buffalo, TX), was nudged 42-39 in Friday's league battle with the host Westwood Panthers (Palestine, TX)
The Panthers now possess a 10-18 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Elkhart for a 3A Region III District 20 battle on Tuesday, January 30. Westwood will battle a Elks team coming off a 55-33 league loss to Mexia (Mexia, TX). The Elks record now stands at 13-14.
The Bison (7-21) will now prepare for their battle against Groesbeck (Groesbeck, TX). The Goats come into the 3A Region III District 20 battle with a 13-10 record. In their last battle, Groesbeck edged Teague (Teague, TX), 29-19, in a league battle.
