With the win, Galatia/Thompsonville upgrades its record to 6-8 on the season. The Bearcats travel to Gallatin County (Junction, IL) to clash with the Hawks in a non-league bout on Monday, January 29. The Hawks go into the bout with a record of 3-13. Gallatin County won 27-26 in their recent non-league bout against Wayne City (Wayne City, IL)

Next up, the Appleknockers clash with the Webber Trojans (Bluford, IL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 27. Cobden will attempt to upgrade on its 6-14 season record. The Trojans go into the bout with a 1-20 record after their 60-22 league loss to Woodlawn (Woodlawn, IL).
