Nevada High School Basketball - Coleville overwhelms Mineral County

January 26, 2024: Hawthorne, NV 89415

Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Coleville Wolves (Coleville, CA) and the host Mineral County Serpents (Hawthorne, NV), saw Coleville's basketball squad wallop Mineral County by a tally of 67-23.

With the victory, Coleville improves its record to 9-5 on the campaign. The Wolves host Sage Ridge (Reno, NV) to confront the Scorpions in a 1A West challenge on Saturday, January 27. The Scorpions come into the challenge with a record of 5-2. Sage Ridge won 62-17 in their recent league challenge against Sierra Sage Academy/Right Of Passage (Yerington, NV)

Next up, the Serpents confront the Smith Valley Bulldogs (Smith, NV) in a 1A West challenge, on Tuesday, January 30. Mineral County will attempt to improve on its 2-12 season record.
