Virginia High School Basketball - Courtland knocked off by Culpeper County

The Culpeper County Blue Devils basketball team scored 63 points and held the host Courtland Cougars to 44 in the Blue Devils league triumph on Friday.

The Blue Devils now sport a 8-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host James Monroe for a Battlefield contest on Tuesday, January 30. Culpeper County will battle a Yellow Jackets team coming off a 78-40 league loss to Chancellor (Fredericksburg, VA). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 10-7.

The Cougars (1-15) will now prepare for their contest against Chancellor (Fredericksburg, VA). The Chargers enter the Battlefield contest with a 15-2 record. In their last contest, Chancellor ran past James Monroe (Fredericksburg, VA), 78-40, in a league contest.
