Illinois High School Basketball - Crystal Lake South can't hold off McHenry

The McHenry Warriors basketball team scored 28 points and held the visiting Crystal Lake South Gators to 27 in the Warriors league triumph on Friday.
The Warriors now sport a 3-20 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Central for a Fox Valley contest on Monday, January 29. McHenry will battle a Rockets team coming off a 45-30 league win over Dundee-Crown (Carpentersville, IL). The Rockets record now stands at 11-10.
The Gators (3-18) will now prepare for their contest against Prairie Ridge (Crystal Lake, IL). The Wolves enter the Fox Valley contest with a 13-10 record. In their last contest, Prairie Ridge was nudged by Crystal Lake Central (Crystal Lake, IL), 62-30, in a league contest.
