With the victory, Crystal Lake South improves its record to 2-11 on the campaign. The Gators host Hampshire (Hampshire, IL) to play the Whip-Purs in a Fox Valley challenge on Tuesday, January 9. The Whip-Purs come into the challenge with a record of 7-5.

Next up, the Warriors play the Grayslake North Knights (Grayslake, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, December 20. McHenry will attempt to improve on its 1-13 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 2-15 record after their 47-26 non-league win over Richmond-Burton (Richmond, IL).
