Ida Bluestreaks (Ida, MI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Dundee Vikings (Dundee, MI), 53-33 in a league challenge.

With the victory, Ida improves its record to 8-3 on the campaign. The Bluestreaks travel to Onsted (Onsted, MI) to confront the Wildcats in a Lenawee County challenge on Monday, January 29. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 5-6. Onsted lost 45-23 in their recent league challenge against Madison (Adrian, MI)

Next up, the Vikings confront the St. Mary Catholic Central Falcons/Kestrels (Monroe, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 30. Dundee will attempt to improve on its 5-5 season record.
