Dundee Vikings (Dundee, MI) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Ida Bluestreaks (Ida, MI), 42-36 in a league bout.

With the victory, Dundee upgrades its record to 1-2 on the campaign. The Vikings host Madison (Adrian, MI) to play the Trojans in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 4. The Trojans come into the bout with a record of 3-0.

Next up, the Bluestreaks play the Adrian Maples (Adrian, MI) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 19. Ida will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Maples come into the bout with a 2-1 record after their 68-21 non-league win over Glenn (Westland, MI).
