The Horatio Lions basketball team scored 57 points and held the visiting Foreman Gator Arkansas to 37 in the Lions league triumph on Friday.

The Lions now sport a 11-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Acorn for a 2A Region 7 contest on Tuesday, January 30. Horatio will battle a Tigers team coming off a 61-32 league win over Spring Hill (Hope, AR). The Tigers record now stands at 21-5.

The Gator Arkansas (5-14) will now prepare for their contest against Caddo Hills (Norman, AR). The Indians enter the 2A Region 7 contest with a 9-7 record.
