Next up, the Pirates clash with the Odem Owls (Odem, TX) in a 3A Region IV District 29 bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Mathis will attempt to upgrade on its 2-23 season record. The Owls go into the bout with a 2-28 record after their 73-12 league loss to Aransas Pass (Aransas Pass, TX).
