The Holy Spirit Spartans basketball team scored 64 points and held the visiting Millville Thunderbolts to 47 in the Spartans non-league victory on Friday.

With the victory, Holy Spirit upgrades its record to 12-5 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Manchester Township (Lakehurst, NJ) to play the Hawks in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 27. The Hawks come into the challenge with a record of 12-4. Manchester Township won 53-28 in their recent league challenge against Central Regional (Bayville, NJ)

Next up, the Thunderbolts play the Our Lady of Mercy Academy Villagers (Newfield, NJ) in a Cape/Atlantic - West challenge, on Monday, January 29. Millville will attempt to upgrade on its 7-9 season record. The Villagers come into the challenge with a 17-1 record after their 68-15 non-league win over Cumberland (Seabrook, NJ).
