The Holy Spirit Spartans basketball team scored 61 points and held the visiting Millville Thunderbolts to 33 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Spartans now sport a 15-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Our Lady of Mercy Academy for a non-league contest on Friday, February 9. Holy Spirit will battle a Villagers team coming off a 63-37 non-league win over Ocean City (Ocean City, NJ). The Villagers record now stands at 20-4.

The Thunderbolts (9-12) will now prepare for their contest against Pennsville Memorial (Pennsville, NJ). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 9-13 record. In their last match, Pennsville Memorial was ripped by Penns Grove (Carneys Point, NJ), 39-32, in a league match.
