In Friday's non-league outing, the Kansas Comets (Kansas, OK) basketball squad beat the visiting Sequoyah Eagles (Claremore, OK), by a margin of 48-35.

The Comets (8-7) will now prepare for their outing against Salina (Salina, OK). The Wildcats go into the Five Lakes outing with a 11-6 record. In their last outing, Salina was topped by Adair (Adair, OK), 82-60, in a league outing.

The Eagles now own a 3-14 record. They play next when they host Inola for a Verdigris Valley outing on Tuesday, January 30. Sequoyah will clash with a Longhorns squad coming off a 41-31 league win over Verdigris (Claremore, OK). The Longhorns record now stands at 13-3.
