The Kemper County Wildcats (DeKalb, MS) basketball knocked off the visiting Southeast Lauderdale Tigers (Meridian, MS), 40-22 in Friday's league test.

The Wildcats (11-7) will now prepare for their test against Northeast Lauderdale (Meridian, MS). The Trojans go into the non-league test with a 11-10 record. In their last test, Northeast Lauderdale went down by Leake Central (Carthage, MS), 63-40, in a league test.

The Tigers now own a 8-13 record. They play next when they travel to Noxubee County for a 3A Region 5 test on Saturday, January 27.
