Georgia High School Basketball - Paulding County overwhelmed by Langston Hughes

The Langston Hughes Panthers basketball team scored 65 points and restricted the host Paulding County Patriots to 35 in the Panthers league victory on Friday.

The Panthers now sport a 16-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Carrollton for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 27. Langston Hughes will battle a Trojans team coming off a 64-24 league win over East Coweta (Sharpsburg, GA). The Trojans record now stands at 19-2.

The Patriots (10-10) will now prepare for their contest against Douglas County (Douglasville, GA). The Tigers come into the AAAAAA Region 5 contest with a 10-9 record. In their last contest, Douglas County was routed by New Manchester (Douglasville, GA), 56-17, in a league contest.
