Georgia High School Basketball - Langston Hughes trounces Paulding County

The Langston Hughes Panthers (Fairburn, GA) basketball crushed the visiting Paulding County Patriots (Dallas, GA), 67-42 in Friday's league test.

The Panthers (10-2) will now prepare for their test against Douglas County (Douglasville, GA). The Tigers go into the AAAAAA Region 5 test with a 7-5 record. In their last test, Douglas County was trounced by Alexander (Douglasville, GA), 45-35, in a league test.

The Patriots now own a 8-7 record. They play next when they host Newnan for a AAAAAA Region 5 test on Tuesday, January 9. Paulding County will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 62-59 non-league loss to Heard County (Franklin, GA). The Cougars record now stands at 4-8.
