The Russell-Tyler-Ruthton Knights basketball team scored 65 points and held the host Mountain Lake/Comfrey to 57 in the Knights non-league triumph on Friday.

The Knights now sport a 10-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Westbrook-Walnut Grove for a A Section 3 contest on Tuesday, January 30. Russell-Tyler-Ruthton will meet a Chargers team coming off a 74-20 league win over Red Rock Central (Lamberton, MN). The Chargers record now stands at 16-3.

The (6-10) will now prepare for their contest against Martin County West (Sherburn, MN). The Mavericks enter the non-league contest with a 12-4 record. In their last contest, Martin County West was outscored by St. Clair (St. Clair, MN), 61-52, in a non-league contest.
