The Russell-Tyler-Ruthton Knights (Tyler, MN) basketball nipped the visiting Mountain Lake/Comfrey (Mountain Lake, MN), 67-62 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Knights (6-4) will now prepare for their test against Lakeview (Cottonwood, MN). The Lakers go into the A Section 3 test with a 7-5 record. In their last test, Lakeview was tipped by Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg (Kerkhoven, MN), 71-55, in a non-league test.

The now own a 3-6 record. They play next when they host Southwest Minnesota Christian for a non-league test on Monday, January 8. Mountain Lake/Comfrey will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 66-63 league win over Hills-Beaver Creek (Hills, MN). The Eagles record now stands at 8-1.
