The Mavericks come into the bout with a record of 6-20. Marshall lost 58-30 in their recent league bout against Longview (Longview, TX)

Next up, the Pirates play the Hallsville Bobcats (Hallsville, TX) in a 5A Region II District 15 bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Pine Tree will attempt to upgrade on its 11-15 season record. The Bobcats come into the bout with a 8-21 record after their 73-31 league loss to Tyler (Tyler, TX).
