With the victory, Sands improves its record to 16-12 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Klondike (Lamesa, TX) to confront the Cougars in a 1A Region I District 8 challenge on Tuesday, January 30. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 10-5.
