Texas High School Basketball - Yantis ripped by Sulphur Bluff

The Sulphur Bluff Bears basketball team scored 54 points and held the visiting Yantis Owls to 31 in the Bears league triumph on Friday.

The Bears now sport a 11-17 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Avery for a 1A Region III District 24 contest on Tuesday, January 30.

The Owls (0-18) will now prepare for their contest against Saltillo (Saltillo, TX). The Lions enter the 1A Region III District 24 contest with a 23-7 record. In their last contest, Saltillo triumphed over Bloomburg (Bloomburg, TX), 55-27, in a league contest.
